💝 Hadaikum ❤️‍🔥💦

We started working together as former students of the ceramic department at UMPRUM in Prague. After school, we collaborated and started making events, mainly picnics, by connecting food, ceramics and other suitable materials. Our central theme is connecting and meeting people, creating our reality through surreal and dreamy food, dishes, plates, and blankets, all on the edge of comfortable use. It is set for a film-like experience, where we all play our part spontaneously, improvising without a program or scheme. We also attended the same high school in Uherské Hradiště, a small town with one of the best cinemas around, which opened our interest in movies. Our everyday inspiration comes out of fairy tales with obscure visuals, sceneries and costumes. Due to growing up and living in the countryside, we also share a fondness for nature, which always has a role in our works. Besides events, we produce and sell funky household items such as plates, cups, flowerpots, candles and candleholders. We intend to remind others that life is too short to be lived within a bland and boring environment.

🎨🕸💦 Nela Britaňáková is the main ceramic artist based in Prague. Besides the Hadaikum project she is a freelance artist. Adéla Chorá is focused on candles and food and besides Hadaikum she runs Skokan Inn in Wallachia.
